Origins:
When a mom and a dad love each other very much, they do things and have a kid. And then that kid goes and meets other kids, and creates Glitchy Tasty. Such is the case here.
In early 2010, Ryan Farrenkopf and Jayce Diaz got together with a group of friends and started making video game parodies for a website. One such video, a remake of the original Resident Evil opening cinematic, generated over 2000 views in the first 48 hours. Rad sauce.
Later that year, Jayce and Ryan were at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) working really, really hard. Then they started thinking, "What if we worked even harder? What if we could create our own gaming site, filled with all the different types of gaming information people expect, but more personal and significantly more awesome?"
What a difference a few months can make.
Together with a ragtag group of mercenaries –er, talented friends (Bill Votta, Dani Boucher, Alex Caldas, Manny Diaz, Eric Dionne, Tony Howell, and Justin Thomas), Glitchy Tasty has risen from the ashes or swamps or whatever things rise from, and there are some big plans already underway.
Launched in August 2010, Glitchytasty.com is an independent news source for all things video game and video game-tech related. Whatever your flavor of hardware, we've got you covered. In addition to totally Jawesome editorials and unbiased information, you can find videos, pretty pictures, and all kinds of neat-o materials, all here.
We're independent, we're original, and we're probably the funniest person in your group of friends; we are Glitchy Tasty.
