Poison

Since the release of the first trailer for the now-canceled game Capcom Fighting All-Stars, Poison has been one of those characters that Capcom fighting fans have been pretty much begging to have put in a fighting game since.

But why?

SSX

If you've been following gaming recently, you probably noticed that EA's classic SSX has made its proper return. Players get to play as an older Elise, Mac, and Moby ( As well as some new faces) to take down the the young boarder Griff, who's looking for some revenge on the SSX crew for treating him like crap during the events of SSX3 and onward.

The question is this: Should EA expand the SSX universe?

Ninjas hold a very respectable place within the video game industry. The mysterious lore, the awesome weaponry, and the big demonic foes that typically reside within their universe make ninjas a staple for game design. But for every great shuriken slinger and wall runner, there is a useless shadow stumbler just itching to be forgotten by time.

So I went ahead and gathered a list of 10 awesome video game ninjas, and their not-so-awesome counterparts.

Hello everyone in Glitchy Tasty Land, and happy birthday Pixel Dude! For those of you who don’t know, today is Glitchy Tasty’s Birthday (August 31st), and what a year it has been for the Glitch. One of our writers played pro football (me), one of our creators got a job with a certain company that makes a certain game for a certain company, and Glitchy Tasty went out west to a secret location (in a tiny suburb outside of Walla Walla, Washington. Can’t miss it. Just drive up 405 til you hit Everest. Get on NE 385 st. on to Village. If you end up in Juanita Bay Park you went to far). Oh, other stuff has happened as well. For instance, Jayce and Ryan invaded E3 and had a blast (no earthquake this time).

For years, fans have clamored to have Final Fantasy VII on the current generation of consoles. Even when the Playstation 2 was around everyone wanted the game done for that system with the best graphics (obviously) available. Now, in the current life cycle of consoles, fans would like to see the game on Playstation 3 or Xbox 360. This would not be so bad, except for the fact that Square-Enix made a teaser trailer for the Playstation 3 at its launch showing the original introduction to FFVII. This begs the question....why doesn't Square-Enix just go ahead and remake the infamous game? Considering how popular FFVII still is, even though it was released in the United States on the original Playstation way back on September 7th, 1997, I will look into the reasons as to why, and why it should not, be redone with today's technology. Get ready Glitchy Tasty readers, because here we go!

When one thinks about video games, we often look towards the future. After playing the first God of War, we wondered, "what's next for Kratos?" After defeating the Covenant in Halo: Combat Evolved, we imagined what adventures Master Chief would move on to next. Sequels are what make a game become more than just something fun to play. Sequels give life to a storyline. They create a series of new characters, returning old characters, new abilities, a new enemy, and even sometimes a new protagonist.

Well, here I honor 10 games who are in dire need of a sequel. Some to further the already amazing story, and some to fill in the cliffhanger ending of their first and only game. Do you agree with any of them? Read on and see what sequels I am hopeful for in the near future.

Now that E3 has come and gone, I would like to give my thoughts on a few of the sports titles on display. But first, some interesting facts on E3 and Glitchy Tasty. For starters, everytime a Glitchy Tasty staff member has been present at E3, a New England team has made it to the championships in their respective sport.

The Boston Celtics in 2010 (lost to the Lakers), and Boston Bruins this year. Even more odd is that when (managing editor and co-founder) Jayce Diaz went with a previous company he was with, the Boston Celtics went on the win the NBA Finals. Also, whenever Jayce has been at E3, an earthquake of 2.0 magnitude or higher has happened in the L.A. area (A 2.1 happened in Palmdale on Tuesday) however unless one happens before his flight tomorrow it will be the first time a 3.0 doesnt happen.

Well now that I have mentioned those interesting facts, I'm going to talk about my thoughts on the good and bad of sports titles at E3.
