Should EA Expand the SSX Universe?

If you've been following gaming recently, you probably noticed that EA's classic SSX has made its proper return. Players get to play as an older Elise, Mac, and Moby ( As well as some new faces) to take down the the young boarder Griff, who's looking for some revenge on the SSX crew for treating him like crap during the events of SSX3 and onward.
The question is this: Should EA expand the SSX universe?
Now what I mean by expanding the universe is to branch out to other genres, maybe for example an over the top BMX-style game. If you follow the back stories of some of the SSX characters like I do, you know that Moby and Zoe also like to bike. Think about it for a minute; a Downhill Domination-type SSX game with a few familiar faces as well as new ones would be pretty insane.
Another idea I had was for an SSX skateboarding game. I was thinking along the lines of Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, but with more features and modes like a half pipe mode just for tricks. They could also have different maps where you could skate around freely, like the game Skate (which is also from EA). Since skateboarding is pretty similar to snowboarding, I don't see why a game like that couldn't be done with most of the SSX characters making a return.
My last idea is based on a game that already existed on the PS2 and Gamecube and it's called Freekstyle. If you don’t remember it, it was also created by EA BIG and took the same style that SSX had and made it into a moto-cross game. Now, I’m sure after reading that you're probably thinking, “ Thats not so bad sounding”...
Wrong. The characters (despite being real-life riders), tracks, and music was god awful. SSX characters Zoe, Psymon, and Moby would fit into that type of game perfectly (along with some new faces of course).

Let me know what you guys think. Good ideas? Bad Ideas? If you have anything yourself to add, leave a comment and let me know.

crusty demons. that is all. but seriously i think it'd be fun. Tony hawk is dull and boring now, and skate is the true skateboarding simulator. It'd be nice to have an insane skateboarding game. Damn I gotta find skate 3 for a decent price cuz I was hopelessly addicted to Skate 2 for the longest time.
