According to Xbox 360 Digest, Redbox kiosks will start caring video game rentals later this month. Redbox has apparently been testing this concept in select markets and is looking to broaden its reach.
It will be interesting to see if this will be as successful as their DVD rentals, because you usually don't beat a game in a day and a $2 per day rental fee could quickly add up. After browsing Redbox's game section on their website, it looks like they will be offering a decent selection of new games for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and even one PS2 game. They also show a DS section, although it is empty.
Redbox game rentals won't be availible everywhere just yet. To see if the Redbox near you will carry it, just head over to Redbox's website and enter your zip code. Sadly, Glitchy Tasty HQ is not near one of these magical game despensing boxes.
