Activision took a break from counting their money to post a press release, telling us that they have even more money. Where did this "more money" come from? Call of Duty: Black Ops, you silly goose.
Treyarch's (who deserves all the praise) Call of Duty: Black Ops made $360 million in the first 24 hours in just North America and the United Kingdom alone. This makes Black Ops the biggest entertainment release in history (meaning it will be blamed by the movie industry for why Skyline did so horribly this upcoming weekend).
The game sold 10.3 million copies and marks this as the second year in a row that a Call of Duty title broke this record.
Now let's see if they use that money to pay bonuses to their employees, or just fire them.
