Heavy Rain Deleted Scenes Shed Some Light On Things That Don't Make Sense

...And they still don't make sense.
Joystiq has posted a "making of" video (originally on the PlayStation Network) for Heavy Rain that shows off some deleted scenes. These scenes fill in some of the details that where missing from the final game, namely what happens during Ethan Mars' blackouts.
The lack of explanation of these blackouts was my biggest (but not only) complaint about Heavy Rain's story. However, the explanation given in the deleted scene video just brings in an out of place paranormal component to the game that makes even less sense than no explanation at all.
They also go into detail about the cause of Madison Paige's Insomnia, because that was such an important aspect of Heavy Rain. What I want to see is the deleted scene explaining how hypothermia and children who don't sound french don't exsist in the Heavy Rain Universe.
