Mass Effect 2 Preorder Bonuses To Be Free On PS3 Until February 23

Mass Effect 2 was host to some pretty territorial DLC bonus offers when it was released on Xbox 360 last year. Everyone from GameStop to Amazon had their own little incentives to persuade gamers to come their way, leaving most gamers feeling like they missed out on some good weaponry just because of shopping preference. Yeah, you could eventually buy the desired weaponry, but after the exclusivity window ends, who even cares anymore?
Thankfully, this won't be the case with Mass Effect 2 on PS3.
According to a post on their official Mass Effect Twitter, Bioware announced that all the DLC preorder bonus items from the Xbox 360 version will be available on the PlayStation Network for free until Feb. 23. I would advise everyone who owns a PS3 to download it, even if they don't have plans to immediately purchase the game. It'll be worth it when you do. Trust me, I'm Commander Shepard's BFF.
