As the resident Tekken fan, I am completely excited by this. Tekken Tag Tournament has been on my WANT list since 2002, so I'll take any info or footage I can. Luckily, this footage is pretty sweet. Keep reading to see for yourself.
This demonstration video comes from a Major League Gaming event in Dallas, and shows a number of combatants (Paul, Law, Jin, Asuka, Armor King, and King) pulling off some crazy combos and grapples. Team grapples can not only be executed, but blocked and (hopefully) reversed. Tag partners can switch in and out to create enormous combos and wall/air juggles. Walled arenas won't hinder the tag ability either, meaning your partner can defy physics and jump in whenever you need him to.
The TTT2 team seem intent on showing off teams that make sense: Longtime friends Paul and Law fighting Jin and his cousin Asuka, for example. I wonder who will team with loners like Bryan Fury and Feng?
