Mass Effect 3 Listed On EA Store, Then Removed

Someone's getting fired over this.
Earlier today, EA's online store made the wonderful mistake of posting a listing for Mass Effect 3, complete with price and story synopsis. An eagle-eyed Destructoid user found said listing, and promptly made the internet aware of it. The listing is as follows:
"Earth is burning. Striking from beyond known space, a race of terrifying machines have begun their destruction of the human race. As Commander Shepard, an Alliance Marine, your only hope for saving mankind is to rally the civilizations of the galaxy and launch one final mission to take back the Earth."
The listing has since been replaced with a blank template (though this new TBD item is still 60 bucks, lol)

The funny thing is that the "Earth is burning" description fits in with the bits and pieces gathered on Bioware's once-secret new project. It takes place on Earth. Civilians are struggling and fighting. It all ties in. Finally, we get to see Earth in the future. It seems like they were really trying to avoid it in the first two games, so that's cool. Now, all we need is a love interest with Wrex.
EA Store Outs Mass Effect 3 (Destructoid)
