Gearbox shocked the shit out of us last year when they announced they had taken over development of Duke Nukem Forever, and told us that the planned on releasing the mythical game in 2011.

Since then though, Gearbox had gone quiet and to be honest...that scared me a little. But, today I fear not because Gearbox and 2K games have given Duke Nukem Forever an official US release date of May 3rd, and May 11th internationally! They have also released a new trailer which can be seen below.
