Hey. guys and gals, I'm Jayce Diaz, site co-creator and managing editor.
As you've probably noticed, glitchytasty.com has been less active over the last two months or so. The truth is, A LOT of changes are happening both with the site and in the personal lives of the staff. We thank you for your patience, and feel you deserve to know what's going on.
The long and short of it: I am stepping down as managing editor, and will no longer write any reviews/previews for the site. But fret not! There is great news stemming from this!

E3 has been a crazy, wild week. We got to see highly anticipated titles like Bioshock Infinite, along with pleasant surprises like Halo Anniversary and Aliens: Colonial Marines. But what titles were we most impressed with?
We went into E3 2011 is a slightly different approach than other sites. Instead of going with bland terms like "Best of Show" or "Best Call of Duty game", we decided to use the ever-popular theme of high school superlatives. Yep.
So who won Class Clown at E3? Who was Most Likely To Be A Millionaire? And what exactly does that mean? Find out here, in the first annual Glitchy Tasty E3 Superlative Awards!

Weekend Recap: PSN Is Alive!!!!!
News - Glitchy Tasty
Written by Ryan Farrenkopf Sunday, May 15 2011 17:11
Well, it's been a rough month for us all. The PSN outage of 2011 will surely go down as one of humanity's greatest struggles, but we held together and survived.
Well, most of us.
While we did get some other exciting news these past two weeks, it all pales in comparison to the return of the Ol' Mighty PSN! Hail PSN!
For those who care, here's a run down of everything else we posted. Eric gave us an interesting list of his 10 ten classic games that need a reboot, Modern Warfare 3 leaked all over the place then got an official teaser. A new and supposedly good Tekken movie is in the works and will be released this summer. L.A. Noire is set to release this week and we got an awesome launch trailer to make us salivate. Then Manny broke down what is wrong with games today. For everything else that happened consult the magic list below.

Weekend Recap: PSN Is Still Down
News - Glitchy Tasty
Written by Ryan Farrenkopf Sunday, May 01 2011 19:02
Another week has gone by, and the PlayStation Network is still down. This continued to dominate the news until last night when Sony held a press conference and basically apologized for about 30 minutes. The good news is the PSN should be back up this week. The bad news is 77 MILLION ACCOUNTS WITH 2.2 MILLION CREDIT CARDS GOT HACKED!!! Other than that, some less dramatic things happened. Eric reviewed Mortal Kombat and I'll give you a hint; he loved it. Nintendo confirmed it will be announcing a new console at E3, Valve is releasing some free DLC for Portal 2 this summer, and Shadow of the Damned looks fabulous. Also, Manny made some predictions about Madden '12. Check out the links below for anything you may have missed this week.

- Need For Speed The Run Announcement Trailer Is Fast, Slightly Furious
- Shadows of the Damned Dev Diary is Delightfully Devilish

Weekend Recap: LATE.

Ironic video is ironic.
Sorry. We are late with the recap. I'm sorry. Easter happened. Sorry. Won't happen again.
This past week saw an L.A. Noire video, among other things. Mass Effect 3 had some more light shed on it, which makes me smile. We posted our Portal 2 review, and Ryan wrote up an interesting article on what we need to see happen in Half Life 3.
Portal 2, Mortal Kombat, and SOCOM 4 all came out on the same day, and Sony celebrated it by shutting down their online services. Also, a flood of info on Nintendo's soon-to-be-revealed console has leaked onto our dirty little hands. I'd say more, but this is late as it is. Enjoy the festivities below:
- L.A. Noire Trailer Tells Us How To Rise Through The Ranks of the LAPD
- A Crapton Of "Wii 2" (Project Cafe) Rumors Surface
- New Sonic Generations Trailer... Yeah.
- Half-Life 2 Episode 3/Half-Life 3 Wish List
- A Few More Mass Effect 3 Tidbits Surface
- Portal 2 Review

Another week has gone by and we are another week older, but not for long though, as our crack team is frantically searching for the fountain of youth. However, that has little to do with video games so just ignore all that. This week gave us a lot of trailers, including an awesome new L.A. Noire one, and a Duke Nukem Forever trailer that focused on Babes. We also finally finished our Play-through of Fatal Frame (which kicked our asses). Not to mention, Ryan (that's me) unveiled a remake of the Resident Evil 2 Police Station main hall using the Unreal Developer Kit, but that's enough about me.
What is important is that tonight is the last chance to enter our PAX East Swagtastic Giveaway! So head on over the the Giveaway page and enter for your chance to win some awesome swag! For everything else from the week of 4/4/11 to 4/10/11 check out the links below

Resident Evil 2 is hailed by many as the best game in the series. Nearly everything about the game has become iconic, from the environments and characters, to the musical score that accompanies them. It's a shame Capcom hasn't done a thing with this title, yet seems to enjoy putting out what appears to be yearly ports of Resident Evil 4. However, the most dedicated of fans will get what they desire, even if it means making it themselves.
