Epic Games has released the first Dev Diary for Gears of War 3. Entitled, "Making Gears 3: Dedicated Execution" it's all about Epic's promise to deliver the best multiplayer experience in Gears 3, with dedicated servers and the Multiplayer Beta. Even if you're not into some of the technical details, there is still plenty of carnage to be seen in this behind-the-scenes look. Also, some of the camera men have ADD, so take a look after the break.

PAX East was filled to the brim with upcoming game releases, of both indie and AAA variety. Of the latter, the highly anticipated Gears of War 3 from Epic Games took the show by storm. Much like everything else, the line stretched around the booth with eager gamers ready to take it for a test drive.

But is Gears 3 the same nerfed experience that turned so many off in the previous game?

Short answer: No. Prepare to use something other than the shotgun.

(Update) After some clarification we have found out that the Gears of War 3 Beta is not available to the general public. The only way to access it is through Bulletstorm Epic Edition or by Pre-Ordering Gears 3 through GameStop.

Cliffy B and the folks down at Epic Games seem to like giving us Gears news in small, bite-sized chunks. Last week, they announced that the Gears 3 Beta will be available in April. Just today, they gave us the final details of the beta including an actual date, and here they are.

We've all been waiting for it; Epic Games has lifted their embargo on Gears of War 3 multiplayer info. So what did we learn? Well first and formost, the Gears 3 Multiplayer Beta will be out in April (barring any techincal difficulties). But wait, there's MORE! Read on to find everything.

With Kinect proving to be a success by selling over 1 million units in 10 days, It seems like now's the time for skeptical game devs to jump on board the Kinect train. 

The latest rumor would bring Kinect into the hearts and small bedrooms of hardcore gamers, according to IGN. The rumor is that a Kinect based, or at least enabled, Gears of War title may be announced at the Spike TV Video Game Awards.

I have finally started getting excited about Halo: Reach, the latest entry in Microsoft's flagship franchise. After doing some research, I have to admit it really seems that they put in the necessary effort to make this the best Halo game to date.
