If you've been following gaming recently, you probably noticed that EA's classic SSX has made its proper return. Players get to play as an older Elise, Mac, and Moby ( As well as some new faces) to take down the the young boarder Griff, who's looking for some revenge on the SSX crew for treating him like crap during the events of SSX3 and onward.

The question is this: Should EA expand the SSX universe?

According to high level sources at Crytek, Microsoft will be announcing the successor to the Xbox 360 sometime within the next 12 months, though most likely at E3 2012. The new system, which they say is far from the final specs, is designed around DirectX 11, the awesome tech that brought us Epic's Unreal Someritan demo back at GDC. Why did someone at Crytek leak this info? Well, that's the best part (for the Glitchy Tasty crew anyways)! Crytek is hard at work on TimeSplitters 4, which is set to be a flagship launch title for the next Xbox.

One of the biggest draws to the Wii U isn't just the console's graphical power, but how it can be used especially for some of Nintendo's best franchises. While Nintendo hasn't officially announced a new Zelda game for the Wii U, they did use their star errand boy to show off the capabilities and possible features of the system.

At the EA press conference they explained a little bit more about what Need for Speed the Run is going to be. The explained that Auto Log (World Wide Stats) will now be incorporated into the story mode so that you will always be going against friends and people around the world. During the demo, it showed you being able to jump out the car and run on foot, which is a first in the franchise. This game looks to really push this franchise into the next level.  Action packed, every second of the game. Stay tuned to for more on this new Need for Speed title.

Nintendo is gearing up for its E3 announcements in serious style. In addition to announcing a budget line of "Nintendo Select" titles, the big N has also gone ahead and reduced the price of the Wii console itself to a comfortable $149.99. Additionally, purchasers will find a copy of Mario Kart packed in with the system, complete with the wheel accessory and everything. It does, however, replace the Wii Sports titles that usually ship with the system.

I already own a Wii, but if I didn't I would definitely consider this deal.

EA has announced the next installment in the Need For Speed series, and released a teaser trailer to go along with it. Developed by Black Box, Need For Speed The Run takes players into the illegal racing circuit (very original), where they race across the country from San Francisco to New York City (Here is hoping you get to jump the Grand Canyon). What makes this game different than the last 20 something NFS's is that it's built on DICE's Frostbite 2 engine; the same one used to power Battlefield 3. So while the game may play the same, it should look amazing. The game launches November 15th, 2011 in the US and 17th in Europe for just about everything.

Well, this makes a good Monday story. Nintendo has confirmed the existence of a new console, and will fully reveal it at E3. It would seem that unlike it's manufacturer brethren Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo would rather put the rumors to rest and build hype rather than try and close the stable doors long after the horse has bolted. Oh hey, PSP2, didn't see ya there.

The best part about this announcement? Nintendo has also confirmed that it's going to be playable.

Nintendo is more than likely working on a successor to the Wii. That's not blind speculation, it's common sense. The Wii, as strong as it once was, just isn't selling like it used to, and there's been a serious game drought for the console that's been going on for a while now.

If these rumors are to be believed, though, Nintendo is close to announcing the console (tentatively named Project Cafe) at this years' E3. Keep reading to check out all the juicy rumors.

Sonic Generations, a new "Next-Gen" (Current Gen?) Sonic title has been teased for some time. Like the other games in the franchise, it promises a return to Sonic's roots, all the while ignoring some of the mechanics that made Sonic great in the first place. I don't know whose idea it is to make Sonic's spin dash stop working when he hits a ramp, but they need to be fired. Now.

Hit the jump to see the trailer and start building up your disappointment today!
